Number of Failures in December 347 Number of Passing in December 286
The total number that have failed and others that have not taken the exam57,645
For the past six months there were an average of 584 that have taking their state exam per month, and less then 39% passed. As of December 5, 2011, there are over 32,240 that have failed 247 more than last month and another 27,825 that have not taken the state examination. Based upon the failure rate 11,130 of the authorized will failed their state certification exam.
Why such a large number of failures? There are many factors on why people have failed and we have found a common factor. The majority of them failed to read the question properly. Their comprehension needs to improve so that their score improves. We have suggested to our students that not only studying for the exam they should read a paragraph a day that doesn’t pertain to electrical, and read it over and over again until they know what that person is trying to convey in that paragraph. They should continue to performing this simple task using a different paragraph each day until exam day. We have found that our students that perform this simple task answered an additional 4 to 6 questions correctly which improves their final score.
Let us help you prepare for your state electrical certification examination with the new 2008 National Electrical Code the question structure has changed. Previously there were 16 categories and now there are only 8 categories with different questions. It is mandatory to understand the 2008 National Electrical Code in order to pass.
We continue to be successful in helping students pass their respective state exam. Please click the testimonial above to see what other electricians have to say.
We have weekend Spanish classes in which we explain the 2008 Spanish National Electrical Code.
